I'm a Restless Artist

I've spent some time in and out of painting, drawing, tattooing, graphic design, cartooning, murals and advertising. This site shows off my visual art over the last ten years.

Currently based in Bangalore, I'm working on some comic stories and illustrations or watching a movie. My first graphic novel 'Moonward' under my pen name Appupen, is out in stores now. Ask for it and buy it - I get 32rupees out of your 395, while I work on more of Halahala.

As a freelancer I painted murals , banners, did body tattoos and tried event management while doing economics at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. I've worked as a design consultant with Greenpeace, Essel Group, Ziqitza Healthcare, Megamart, Tata AIG, CRISIL, Manhattan cards, Fastrack and a host of clients in Bates advertising-Mumbai and Idiom Design and Consulting-Bangalore.

Visual communication is my area of interest. I've made some striking non commercial and effective commercial expression. Now I specialise in art and comics, while being an expert at understanding brands if needed.
